We stayed in the Grand Tower which is much closer to the pool if you are wanting to go there. choctaw casino and hotel is a large super clean friendly destination in south east oklahoma the casino is large with plenty of room to move around the wide isles all help has. Also had some rude guests at pool area so maybe they give back what they get. Hwy 69/75 Choktaw Casinos & Resorts, Durant, OK 74701-1955. Stormy at the Brighton store was great, and the lady who served us at Smash and the server at Gilley's were good however it was noticeable that the front desk and many others were not friendly. Pool swim up bar staff was nice and Beth, one of the servers. So much so that when we had a good one we really took notice.
We did notice the people working here are not the friendliest. Durant has some great places close by - check them out. I would recommend Smashburger and Gilley's but nothing else.
The food at the Casino was not very impressive. We loved the adult area with the swim up bar. It is so pretty but get out there early or you can't get a seat. If you go in the summer the pool is great. There is a large kids area with a theater, bowling and arcade, however I am not a fan of kids at a casino. They have two huge slot areas and also table games. Yes, its not Vegas but Choctaw is a nice casino.
